The following are this week's ESPN Rise
National Soccer Players of the Week.
Players are recognized for their
performances from the previous week (Monday through Sunday).
BOYS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kyle Schraier, Christian Brothers, Sr., MF
Although teammate Zach Hundelt was named tournament MVP, it was
Schraier who added the scoring touch as Christian Brothers won the Victor
Arbelaez Bracket of the Gateway City Soccer Classic over the weekend. Schraier
had a goal and one assist to propel CBC to a 3-1 semifinal win over St. John
the Baptist. His tallies came after the match was tied at 1. In the final
against Marquette, Schraier delivered a well-placed header for the
game-clinching goal in a 3-0 victory.
